Chambers Design has long been associated with home renovations through their Guthrie Bowron Franchise and their interior design business, Chambers Design - We Know Houses!

So it's a natural fit for us to branch out into home staging. We can efficiently put together a custom scheme to create "The Look" that will suit both your property and the buyers.

We'll create a bespoke scheme to achieve the desired look for both your property and the people buying it. We have access to a large selection of designer furniture and accessories that will highlight your home's best features and create a space that buyers will want to own!

Karen and her team have been synonymous with home renovation for over two decades, and now that the second generation has joined the team, we have the luxury of experienced and innovative "Insta Ready" Styles to enhance your home.

Our packages are fully custom. You can add additional Living rooms and or bedrooms. Just ask us to provide you a quote.

We are also grateful to have a strong team of willing assistants available to help with the more difficult pieces of
furniture.

What is included in the staging?

All preparation, styling, transportation, maintenance, pack up, and removal are included in our price. It also includes any furniture or accessories that we feature in your home. There are no hidden fees, and we guarantee the quoted price.

Are you able to work with my furniture?

In general, we can do an enhancement using your furniture along with some of ours, however we prefer to use only ours so that we can ensure that the colours, styles, and accessories all match to create a scheme that perfectly complements your home.

How much time does it take to stage a home?

On average, it takes us 4-5 hours to stage a one lounge and one bedroom once we have access to your property.

Is the furniture available for purchase?

Yes! However we may need to order some particular pieces in for you, so we can replenish our capital stock that we use. Just talk to us and we can arrange this for you.

What is the area you cover?

Chambers Design covers all of Canterbury.


However there may be mileage and travel costs depending on how far away the home staging is. We are based in Timaru and do cover a large area with our interior design business.

Who does the furniture moving?

We do! We have a dedicated team that has furniture moving as part of their job description. They carefully move our larger pieces of furniture into the house, respecting the recently painted deco, and YES we use real beds.
